The Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum is, along with the Manzù Museum Collection, the Praz Museum and the Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum, one of the institutes connected to the National Gallery of Modern Art.

The Museum conserves works by the sculptor and painter, Hendrik Christian Andersen.

The works here collected (over two hundred sculptures of large, medium and small dimensions in plaster and bronze; over two hundred paintings; over three hundred graphic works) is considered exceptional for being almost entirely conceived around the utopian idea of a "Worldwide City", destined to be a perennial laboratory of ideas in the fields of the arts, sciences, philosophy, religion and physical culture.
